Super sore today from the STS workout yesterday morning. I have to workout tonight cuz I was exhausted this morning; I slept 10 hours! It felt sooooo good though :)
I am going to try zig-zagging my calories again. I might not follow the plan exactly as it's described here, since some days I will probably be more/less hungry than others, but I will use it as a general guideline:
Monday 1952
Tuesday 1561
Wednesday 2342
Thursday 1952
Friday 1757
Saturday 2147
Sunday 1952
So far, I have been on track! Granted, it's only been two days but still I am happy! I decided that breaking my meals up to no more than 400 calories each is a huge help, and I can factor in snacks if I'm hungry. This won't work out every day (like when mom makes macaroni or we go out for dinner), but it's a general guideline I will use. The whole idea is I really need to plan out my day. I used to bring in a butt load of snacks and just decide what I wanted when I got hungry, but that was not working. Some days I ate way too many refined carbs, some days I didn't have enough protein so I was hungry all day and went over my calories....it wasn't a good plan. Yesterday, I planned out every meal I ate, right down to the snacks, so that when I did get hungry I knew exactly what I was gonna eat. It was a HUGE help to keep me on track with my calories!
This week's goal is to drink A LOT of water. I have my water bottle from the RT that holds 1,000ml, so I'd like to drink 1 of those in the morning and 2 in the afternoon while I'm at work. At home, I'd obviously be drinking too but if I can get in 3,000ml during that day that would be awesome. Yesterday I drank sooooo much and I felt really good (besides having to run to the bathroom every 1/2 hour but that's a small price to pay).
Registration for classes is next Monday. It took me an hour to make up my schedule being that I have to take 3 lectures and 3 labs and of course everything takes place at the same times. OI! The only thing that sucks is I didn't get the professor I really wanted for Bio and I have to drive up to Po-town 5 days a week, but it was either that or take a 3 hour night lecture and a 3 hour night lab 2x a week. That was SO not happening since that class was 6:30-9:50PM; I'm a narcoleptic, I can't stay awake in a lecture that late! Also, I don't have the attention span for it. This is ok anyway because the most time I have between classes is an hour & 1/2 so it's not too bad. Soooooo excited to start!!
Keep me posted on the zig-zagging plan! I've already goofed up on mine, yesterdays supper wasn't the best choices, pizza and a slice of chocolate torte :S
