Spring is Coming!

And we have 92 days til Vegas!! I got my fill of crappy eats this weekend, so now that we are starting a brand new month, I need to get hardcore on eating clean. Danny is down with me on this diet thing, so we are helping each other get ripped for Vegas. I'm not buying any more SF ice cream; I found a recipe that I can use to make FF/SF ice cream with all REAL ingredients using my mom's ice cream maker. This way I can use pure Stevia extract instead of some nasty chemicals that they use in grocery ice cream. I also found the Clean Eating blog last night and there are a lot of women on there who post their menus and recipes, so I will steal some ideas.

Fellow Cathlete Sandrelle @Keeping It Off has a March Melt Off Challenge going on which I decided to join. The first challenge is to write down a goal. Well, I have 4:
~ Drink lots of water
~ Sleep enough (7-8 hours a night)
~ Kick out sugar
~ Eat every 2-3 hours depending on how hungry I am
#1 and #4 are biggies for me, especially when I am home; I tend to wait until the last minute to decide what I want to eat and by then I am starving so I never pick anything decent. I am going to try to plan my day in advance like I do when I'm at school; those are my best eating days.

This morning I woke up at the butt crack of dawn and did Step Blast & Step, Jump, & Pump premix: step and hi/lo circuit. I used to die on the hi/lo but after all the HIIT training I've been doing, it was much easier this time! I also noticed some muscles popping out in my abs, woohoo!!!! And mom noticed a trace of a bicep muscle the other day so really if I just stick to this diet then I will be golden in 3 months. It's just so friggin HARD!!! I love food!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, I also wanted to share this yahoo article. This is why I love Cathe workouts and would never ever EVER go back to paying for a gym again. Her videos have all 4 of these things. I never used a barbell before I started working out with Cathe, never even dreamed of using one. I also never lifted a dumbbell heavier than 8 pounds: now I am up to 30 in some cases! Love love LOVE her, and am so happy she is getting inducted into the Fitness Hall of Fame!
