Well, Vegas came and went...and it definitely went way too fast! I had a great time though!!! Had a little too much fun drinking and the bad part of that is that I gained 5 lbs :( Blech. I feel so damn bloated right now and disgusting, plus I'm due for TOTM this weekend so that isn't helping my foul mood. Top that with the fact that DA is in Miami and I really really miss him a lot. He comes home tomorrow though, and as much as I feel like a biotch for wishing his vacay away, I can't wait for him to get his butt back here! It's weird because out of everyone I've dated in the past, I've never felt a connection like I feel with him. We just click really well and he is so supportive with EVERYTHING. Also doesn't hurt that he's incredibly hot, smart, and speaks 4 languages ;)
Last night an old friend of mine called and out of nowhere she started bashing two of my friends. It royally pissed me off and I started screaming at her (hi, TOTM!). It was just so unbelievably RUDE! Ok, 1 friend she bashed she has known this girl since middle school so an opinion is warranted: maybe not exactly in the way she expressed it but she can have her say. However, the other girl she met ONE time and didn't even give her a chance because this girl was fat. Key word there is WAS. But, this girl is the sweetest person you could ever meet and she would give you the shirt off her back if she had to, and this chick didn't even give her a chance because of the way she looked. LAME. Mind you, my "friend" isn't a skinny minny herself and she of all people should know what it's like to be judged by others who don't even know you. I had to hang up on her because it was just making my blood pressure rise and I couldn't take all the negativity emanating from her damn mouth! Then I realized, there is NOTHING negative in my life right now which hasn't been the case in a really long time. I just don't have the time or patience to deal with it anymore. Sure, bad shit happens but I have so many positive things going on, I don't remember the last time I felt this good! I'm not really sure what my point is with all this but I thought I would share.
This month, I decided to do Cathe's June rotation. I lifted heavy Wed and today and did some legs yesterday. I'm going back to doing heavy legs 2x a week again; these puppies need toning in the WORST way! I also joined MyFitnessPal.com before we left for Vegas and I'm tracking on there instead of SP; MFP actually takes your workouts into account and you can talk to friends on there to stay motivated which I really love. A couple of the girls from my Cathe check-in are on there and they are so awesome!
